Saddleworth SES is responsible for any emergency in the district relating to
Storm Damage : Wind, rain and flood damage
Search and Rescue : Location of missing persons
Road Accident : rescue of traffic and machinery accident casualties.
The territory is very large stretching from Bowmans in the west to nearly Truro in the east and from Roseworthy in the south to nearly Burra in the north. The unit is extremely well equipped and mobile.
SES is desperate for more members as there is only a small band of volunteers to cover all of this area.
